Artist Statement:

Art, no matter what form it is in, brings creativity and imagination into the world, allowing all who interact with it to express themselves. Art can allow us to escape from the world we know for a short while, teach us about ourselves, and teach us about each other. While all art forms have purpose and their own specific abilities, I choose to focus on costume design. I love being able to share the stories and characters of people before they even open their mouth on a stage or in front of a camera. Storytelling allows us to grow more empathetic and loving. I choose to use the gifts God has gifted me to share the stories of others in hopes of bringing just a little more light to this world.
